Founded in 1999, JF Bobcat Trucking & Engineering Inc. has proudly served the San Francisco Bay Area for over two decades. Led by founder Joe Furtado, our company is built on a deep foundation of construction, engineering, and mechanical expertise that encompasses both residential remodeling and commercial construction projects.
Joe began his career at just 18 years old, building spec homes from start to finish in California’s San Joaquin Valley. His early experience included concrete work, full remodels, and hands-on construction, which naturally evolved into excavation services, underground utilities, and structural work. What began as a bobcat and trucking operation steadily expanded into commercial construction services and later returned full circle to residential work—bringing with it decades of technical knowledge and field experience.
Today, JF Bobcat Trucking & Engineering Inc. specializes in excavation services, underground utilities, earthquake retrofits, structural remodeling, and commercial support services. We also provide water trucks and hauling services to the commercial construction industry throughout the Bay Area.
In San Francisco, we maintain ongoing relationships with multiple property owners and managers, providing building maintenance, apartment turnovers, full remodels, and property improvements including drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, and complete unit renovations.
